Why Sponsor?

Of all the performing arts, musical theatre and opera are by far the most expensive to produce. The effort required to present a major production is immense. From the initial stage of assembling the cast, production team and volunteers, constructing sets and costumes, through rehearsals and finally to performance, the entire undertaking may take six months or longer. With production costs in excess of $100,000.00, it becomes an expensive proposition.

Despite excellent patron support and an ever expanding audience base, ticket sales typically generate only about 60% of our production costs. As a result, extensive fundraising is required to generate the balance. Government and foundation funding along with corporate and individual donations enable us to achieve the artistic excellence of our productions, which in return allows the community to prosper culturally and economically.
